The Indian Grain Storage Management and Research Institute (IGMRI), Hapur and its two field stations located at Hyderabad and Ludhiana conduct applied Research and Development activities on various aspects of post harvest management of foodgrains. At present, Long Term Training Courses (LTTC) and Short Term Training Courses (STTC) are organised at Hapur, Hyderabad and Ludhiana. Long Term Training Courses (LTTC) are conducted for four (04) weeks and Short Term Training Courses (STTC) are of two (02) weeks and one (01) week duration. The training programmes are being organized for the officers/personnel's from various organizations viz. FCI, CWC, SWCs, Civil Supplies Corporations etc, and persons engaged in pest control operations. Various awareness programs for State Government Officers and farmers sponsored by Warehousing Development and Regulatory Authority (WDRA) are also conducted at IGMRI.
